The new baby of the bunch, Bizzie Bees Branched out into Dunstable in June 2012. We have added a new day care to our growing family. Bizzie Bees Dunstable is located on the Queensbury school site. A large purpose nursery consisting of a large baby room with a separate sleep room and fully equipped milk kitchen. Large bright and airy fully equipped Toddler & Pre School rooms. All rooms have their own access to a large secure garden. We have large Kitchen where all meals are freshly prepare which leads onto the childrens Dinning room. Lastly we offer our families the use of our family room, which is available for breast feeding, support and advise from our trained family worker Donna or just a place to relax while your child is settling in. We can of flexible care from am, pm or full day sessions and a holiday club up to the age of 8 years.

At snack and lunchtime the children are encouraged to be independent. Staff talk with children about the food they are eating and how it helps them to be strong and healthy.Children are also encouraged to be independent with toileting and hand washing. To minimise the risk of cross-infection the children use paper towels to dry their hands. They are made aware of germs and the need to wash their hands.
All children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This consists of working towards outcomes/goals in the following areas;
Personal social emotional development;
Communication & Language.
Understanding of the world
Expressive arts and design
Staff complete observations during the activities and record them in children’s individual learning journeys. Parents we ask you to contribute to these on a regular basis, slip are available at all time for you to note down any observation or information that you want to share with your child’s key worker. This information will then be feed into your child’s individual learning journey which you are free to see at any time. We also conduct open days where key workers will spend time talking with you about your children’s progress.
7.30 AM - 6 PM Monday to Friday 51 weeks a year (closed at Christmas)
We have an outstanding team of dedicated, highly qualified staff who work on a minimum ratio of 1:3 for 0-2 Years 1:4 for 2-3 years and 1:8 for children aged 3 years upwards to ensure your child is cared for in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
3 & 4 year old Funding
Available to all children the term after their 3 Birthday. This funding enables you to access 15 hours free childcare a week additional hour are available at the hourly rate. Please bring your child birth certificate on induction.
2 Year old Funding
2 year old funding is now available for children the term after their 2 birthday. To enable you to access the funding you must meet the following criteria: ·
- Income Support·
- Income based Job Seeker's Allowance
- Child Tax Credit · Working Tax Credit (Disability element)
- Guarantee element of the State Pension Credit
- SEN Child· Looked After Child
- Child subject to a Child Protection Plan
